From 10 September 2009 to 30 September 2015 at the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana Leonardo da Vinci (1452 – 1519), a man of genius and universal talent from the Italian Renaissance period, fully embodied the Universalist spirit of his times, bringing him to the fore in the most diverse fields of art and knowledge. He was a painter, a sculptor, an architect, an engineer, an anatomist, a man of letters, a musician and an inventor, and is considered one of the greatest intellects of all times. The Atlantic Codex is the greatest collection of drawings and writings by Leonardo, and is currently preserved at the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana in Milan. Characteristics of the Atlantic Codex
